With a guest list of just 60 people, the focus of this laid-back Canadian wedding was truly the gorgeous Bride and Groom and their love for one another. The couple achieved their vision of an elegant backyard BBQ with fun lawn games, DIY décor and flowers arranged by the Bride and her mother. From Chelsea Warren Photography…Laura & Scott got married at Laura’s parent’s private residence in Deep Cove on Vancouver Island, BC. They had a small elopement with under 60 guests, lots of DIY decor and gorgeous florals made by the bride and her mother. Their theme was an elegant backyard BBQ with airy and beachy touches. The guests were treated to champagne during the ceremony, as well as lots of garden games during the afternoon reception. We snuck away to a small beach just up the road for some photos of just the bride and groom before the ceremony, then enjoyed the rest of the day in Laura’s parent’s backyard. There was no bridal party, it was a very relaxed day. The bride and groom saw each other before the ceremony and spent lots of time together; they really enjoyed each other’s company the entire day and it was so sweet to see! Their love for each other was certainly the focus!
