I'm generally pretty neutral when it comes to color, tossing in a dash of happy hue in here and there. But this dose of jewel-toned inspo from Brianna Wilbur, Laurel & Elm Events, Petals With Style and team has me re-thinking everything. It's the definition of cheer (who doesn't want a cheerful wedding?!) and you can soak up more color-love right here in THE VAULT.
From Brianna Wilbur Photography...One of the greatest things about being a photographer is feeding your creative soul by finding like minded creatives to make something lovely happen just for the purpose of celebrating our mutual love of beautiful things. I have been forever drawn to Anna Campbell gowns. Lora of Laurel & Elm Events and myself both were feeling very inspired by jewel tones in general - rich navy, plums, merlots, emeralds and purples. We desired to create a shoot around this color scheme that was a bit moody yet remained romantic, sophisticated, slightly european feeling, with a touch of bohemian flair. We carried our jewel theme through the shoot from the cake, the jeweled chocolates & chocolate bark, the bride's bold eye shadow, the groom's suit, the florals, place cards, tablescape, and the setting itself. We love how we kept this shoot very detailed & styled but realistic & in reach for future brides to work with! The bride's braid was the perfect touch to keep this shoot feeling relaxed & undone. It rained the entire day, however, the overcast sky only added to the specialness of this inspirational bridal shoot. It's also wonderful proof to future brides that beautiful images can be made amongst dreary weather. We hope you love this as much as we do! Every single person involved was so enthusiastic about making every little detail of this shoot wonderful!
