Elegant + Fun Innercity Elopement in Berlin

Can we just discuss how adorable this duo is? I mean, for starters that tutu skirt needs to be in my closet ASAP, and that Vespa getaway? Don’t even get me started, because honestly I could go on forever discussing how much I love this Berlin elopement from Katja Scherle Festtagsfotografien. It’s festive meets fabulous, and lucky for us because we’re unlocking every moment vicariously in THE VAULT!

From Katja Scherle FesttagsfotografienThis is a beautiful little wedding shoot that is coming to you from Berlin, Germany. It’s actually a real wedding, the gorgeous couple had their civil wedding in September. The beautiful bride is a wedding photographer herself and wanted something different and fun. She decided on a Marsala colour scheme as a contrast to so many pink and pastel color schemes she had seen herself. She still managed to pull off a fun, youthful and divinely feminine wedding look. Hurriyet Bulan of Botanic Art created an equally lovely bridal bouquet matching their theme – and she provided the couple with a beautiful ornament for their stylish wedding Vespa.

This Vespa is not a prop, by the way. It was actually driven on the wedding day and something the groom wished for – he had been an avid Vespa driver for many years.

We met on the evening of their wedding day for a little inner city elopement session with an almost Parisian chic look. The two are highschool sweethearts and you could on the one hand really feel the closeness they shared after so many years together. And on the other hand the giddyness they felt that they actually did it – they finally tied the knot.
