It’s the type of loveliness one can always expect from a vineyard graced with California sunshine. From The Bride…The architecture of the building was very important to Gavin. We wanted to get married at a place that reflected our design aesthetic and fell in love with Stryker. It’s simple, modern and slightly rustic aesthetic really resonated with us.
The space was perfect for the experience we wanted to create. Each part of the evening was in a different space that highlighted the emotions of the event. The ceremony location was in the lower gardens, which made us feel as through we were nestled in the vines. The cocktail hour was in the tasting room, which provided a birds eye view of the vines and a beautiful sunset. For dinner, we descended into the barrel room, which felt intimate and smelled of oak and wine. Finally, for dancing, the party moved to the upstairs gardens, which are beautifully festive.
The lighting in the evening was also beautiful. It provided shade for the guests at the ceremony and incredible sunset views from the tasting room. The size was also perfect. We wanted it to feel intimate and it comfortably accommodated our party size.
