While there are endless things to love about this stunningly Romantic French Chateau Wedding, if there’s one thing that stuck with you from this gorgeous fete, my bets are on it being this jaw-dropping bouquet, designed by French Flower Style‘s Lisa Gatenby. FromLisa…. The brief to create this bouquet was” French country garden”, Katie wanted the flowers to look as if they had just been picked from the château gardens . The flowers I chose for the bouquet were mainly seasonal summer flowers and were chosen specifically for their different shapes and textures to create a natural styled bouquet . The colour palette was chosen to contrast with the beautiful green of the bridesmaids dresses and also to blend with the florals already within the Château gardens.
My aim was to create something which fit within Katie’s brief yet also reflected the elegance of Château la Durantie. Its always important to me for my floral designs to compliment and enhance a space and with so many magnificent château and venues in France I am constantly rewarded with stunning backdrops for my flowers.
