Bouquet Breakdown: Romantic Burgundy + Blush Virginia Wedding

With summer long gone and fall here to stay, this burgundy beauty from this Wedding at the Mill at Fine Creek has the best of both seasons: lush summer peonies, and a palette that will brighten up any autumn “I Do’s.” We got the scoop on this gorgeous bouquet from Mary Jane Tropea of LeRoy French Flowers below, and there’s even more pretty waiting for you in The Vault!

Romantic Summer Wedding at the Mill at Fine Creek

From Mary Jane… At LeRoy French, we create ’boutique bouquets’ for each of our brides, meaning there’s no template or preconceived ideas. Our design approach centers on highlighting the theme of the day while showcasing the bride’s unique style. We start with cues from the overall look and feel then add personal touches through color, texture and contrast.

As a creative herself, Jordan has an eye for detail and discerning taste so her flowers needed to be as unique and distinctive as she is. We loved working with her to create a bouquet that was simple and timeless, yet full of subtle touches that tied her vision together.

With a deep sense of history, the venue provided tons of inspiration and called for lots of texture and depth. We played up the rich feel of the crumbling stone and lush ivy with a bouquet of bold, full blooms and a tumbling waterfall of green. The loose structure and high contrast added just the right amount of drama and romance for a late summer wedding.
