Welsh Coastal Engagement Session

I studied abroad in London and while the city captivated my heart, it was the weekends away in the English and Welsh countryside that I still dream about. And so, these engagement pics by Christine Clark are warmly welcomed into my office today and won’t be leaving my desktop anytime soon. Head on over to our VAULT and I promise you, this is one wanderlust trip that’s worth every second.

From Christine Clark… Both film photography enthusiasts, Che dreamt up the most creative way to propose to Becky. On a Holiday to Three Cliffs Bay in Southern Wales, he asked her to take some photos using his old Pentax camera with a waist level viewfinder. As she looked down to start snapping away, there was the ring sitting in the viewfinder, staring back at her. Needless to say, she said yes!

For their engagement shoot we headed to the North of Wales and shot along the coast, ending at a small tidal island named after St. Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers. The Welsh equivalent of St. Valentine, the ruins of her church still remain there, and was a popular place for lovers to make pilgrimage to in the Middle Ages. With the rugged coast, the emerald Irish Sea, and the ruins of St. Dwynwen’s chapel in the background, it was a hopelessly romantic place for an engagement shoot, and the most wonderful place to let your imagination run wild.
