While I love a grand wedding, the truth is my heart beats a little louder for those small, intimate celebrations. Take this pair who jetset off to Italy to say “I Do”, and with the help of Super Tuscan Wedding Planners their day was Tuscany with a twist. From Super Tuscan Wedding Planners…In May 2015 a lovely couple called Fah and Richard decided to elope to Tuscany and have a super sweet, romantic wedding.

I arrived at the hotel to find Richard relaxing in the breakfast room with a cup of tea whilst writing some very romantic vows that he would later read to his beautiful bride.

Fah was in her room getting her hair and makeup done but soon joined Richard downstairs. After the couple had wrote their vows they headed back to their room to get ready, Fah wore a stunning dress by Monique Lhuillier with Jimmy Choo shoes, David Bridal veil and belt, her earrings and hairpiece were bought at a local boutique near her home. Richard wore a navy blue suit by Banana Republic and added a touch of color with a pink tie by Burberry, Stacy Adams shoes finished off his look.

After a first looks moment filled with love and adoration for each other in the hotel’s gardens, the couple headed to the exclusive Hotel Il Falconiere for the wedding ceremony that was held within the gardens under a pretty , rustic arch offering views of the glorious Tuscan countryside. The music from a single acoustic guitar accompanied the bride down the tree-lined isle. It was a very heartfelt ceremony and, I must admit, as they read each other their vows I was feeling rather emotional! A private toast followed the ceremony and then the couple took a walk around the hotel grounds and vineyards with their photographer (Les Amis) who did a great job as you can see in these amazing photos!

For dinner the happy couple had dinner on a very private little terrace overlooking the center of the stunning hilltop town of Cortona, there was an atmosphere of pure romance as they finished off an unforgettable day with a great meal and some of that famous Tuscan wine.
