Bouquet Breakdown: Romantic Garden Party Wedding

A little bit sweet, a little bit classic and ever-so charming, this bouquet captured by O’Malley Photographers had me at it’s first peeking ivory sahara rose. It was the perfect blooming accessory for this glowing Bride and her Northwest fete. Stacy Anderson Floral & Event Design, the creative genius behind this garden stunner, is letting us in the recipe, see below!

Romantic Garden Party Wedding

From Stacy Anderson Floral & Event DesignThe bride, Lauren, and I knew we wanted the feel of the flowers and decor to merge seamlessly with the natural garden setting of the venue, but Lauren also has a classic beauty about her that I wanted to make sure came through in the flowers, especially her bouquet. We kept the bouquet shape more classic and the colors neutral with soft pastels, but added interesting and natural textures to bring out the more unique garden feel. Florists are spoiled in the PNW with incredible local product, and almost all of the floral ingredients were grown by local farmers. I really enjoyed finding product that played well off bringing the two themes—classic and garden—together.

I particularly love the lacecap hydrangea that provides the most delicate and muted light pink tones mixed with the blush and white variety of roses. I foraged the silver poplar branches as my main foliage ingredient as I love the softness it brings in color and texture, and mixed it with crabapple branches as there isn’t a better way to bring a garden like atmosphere than adding fruit (which we also had various fruits on a lot of the reception tables!)! I wrapped the bouquet in draping FrouFrou Chic silk ribbon in three colors (light pink/mauve, ivory, and light grey) as the finishing touch. Both Lauren and I were so happy with the finished product!
