This Sunset Sydney Engagement Session went live on SMP almost a year ago, but we still can’t get enough of this stunning cascading bouquet from Lina Bteddini of Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling. Lucky for us, Lina was kind enough to share more about these beautiful blooms and their beautiful Bride, and we’ve got it all in the breakdown below!
From Lina…. Our Bride requested a wild and lush bouquet- with a mix of berry, pink tones. She pretty much left it up to me to put together something for her to compliment what she was wearing. We always ask our Brides to send us inspiration images of flowers they like along with an image of the dress they will be wearing on the day. Generally if the dress has more intricate details or has beading we would tone it down more with the flowers we create. However our bride chose a simple white gown which meant we had free reign to go a little more crazy with the flowers!
When designing a bridal bouquet, we always love to include a mix of trailing foliages, beautiful textures, berries and colour and we also try to sneak in a little element of surprise somehow that has not been seen before if we can. For added interest I like to group certain flowers together and let the prettiest blooms pop out of the bouquet a little more than the others. I am still a little old school as generally every bloom is wired into to place so that it sits in the right position and you can see each of their unique pretty faces!
