I was lucky enough to study in London in college and while I took many side adventures, my weekend trips to the English countryside will always hold a special place in my heart. The sense of calm and simple elegance has stayed with me over the years and this photo shoot by Taylor and Porter was the perfect reminder of why I fell in love with this area. Quintessentially English and undeniably romantic, these pics will be up on my screen for quite some time – see them all in our VAULT right this way!
From Taylor & Porter… I’m a Fine Art Film Photographer based in the UK and recently shot an inspirational bridal editorial piece at Boconnoc House and Estate in Cornwall. It focuses on quintessentially English, refined, understated elegance. For the colour palette we worked with predominantly white on white with touches of subtle colour; tones from a Farrow & Ball paint chart; sage green, softest blue dove grey; natural hues. Antique platinum and diamond jewellery, a bespoke letterpress stationery suite, a Rue De Seine wedding gown and stunning organic florals by American florist, Forage & Fleur completed the look. All the photographs were captured on medium format film lending a soft, timeless romance and intrinsic quality to the images.
