From Brooke BolingThere were so many special wedding day highlights on this beautiful day. The minister that married ashley + will has known the bride her whole life, and they married in the church (West End United Methodist) the groom grew up in. At the reception, guests were greeted at Wills’ family barn by Percherons (the horses). During the cocktail hour, guests sipped on the grooms favorite cocktail, Moscow Mules. The cocktails were served up in copper mugs as they listened to bluegrass tunes played by Craig Duncan and Friends. The seated buffet began with a plated first course…a “vegetable ceviche” that included the brides favorite fruit, watermelon. A perfect crisp and cold selection for the warm, summer evening. After the guests worked up an appetite dancing, they were served late night burgers and fries and then sent home with blueberry and maple glazed donut holes.
