From White Elephant… Betsy and Colin met through Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. Shortly after, they discovered their offices were across the street from one another; their life together began from then on.

Betsy and Colin became engaged at The Wauwinet, ten months after their first date. After spending ten months as an engaged couple, they were married at White Elephant on June 20, 2015. Betsy professed, “Getting married at the White Elephant has been a dream of mine since I started visiting Nantucket about 15 years ago.”

The wedding was brimming with handmade signs, custom corn hole boards, marquees, lights, custom sunglasses, sparklers, and oodles of flowers. From roses, to hydrangeas, to peonies, the sweet smell of florals wafted throughout the ceremony.

Betsy wore a Reem Acra gown and brought in a bit of southern flair with her parasol (Betsy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas).

The reception was illuminated by musicians that were both family friends and guests. The handmade cake was adorned with individual sugar flowers that looked so authentic, guests thought they might be real. After a lively reception, the newlyweds sailed off into the Nantucket Harbor abyss.

The couple took their honeymoon to Maui and Bora Bora; they now life in New York City’s Chelsea.
