From Planned For Perfection...Lauren and Oliver met in the Bride’s home country of America, fell in love and set up home in San Francisco. They had always envisioned a fairytale English location to celebrate their wedding day and chose the Manor House at Castle Combe near Bath, which is located in the heart of a romantic village in the English Countryside and an unquestionably perfect choice for a quintessentially English wedding.

On the eve of the wedding day, guests were invited to an informal get-together and how more English can you get than a cricket match on the local village green, close to the groom's family home!

The following morning, there were two flags fluttering in the breeze as guests arrived at The Manor House - The Union Jack, as to be expected at this country house hotel in the Cotswold countryside and the star spangled flag of the United States, joined together for this special occasion. The manor house is a 14th century country retreat located in the picturesque village of Castle Combe, Wiltshire.

After months of planning, the day itself was simply exquisite, a classic Anglo American affair from beginning to end and when its Planned for Perfection, you know something beautifully elegant will unfold.

Guests were taken to church in an iconic London red double decker bus and meandered through the Cotswold countryside to the stunning St John the Evangelist church in Bath. After the service, guests were served wine and Champagne in personalised glasses before arriving back at the manor. Lauren and Oliver had taken exclusive use of the hotel, becoming the Lord and Lady of their very own English Manor for the weekend! Guests enjoyed listening to the string quartet during the champagne and Canape reception before dining in the Bybrook restaurant which had been transformed into a stunning wedding dining room, the scent of the gorgeous flowers was divine, the attention to every little detail was incredible, including the wedding cake that was designed to replicate the lace on Lauren's beautiful wedding dress.
