From Alicia Swedenborg… Christina was was a medical student and Brian was a doctor working at a hospital in Brooklyn when they met. The proposal took place on vacation in Tuscany and took a day trip to a vineyard in one of the hill towns, Montelpulciano. “After a perfect afternoon of vineyard tours, wine tasting, and lunch on the terrace, we took a walk around the property. While strolling through a field of yellow flowers, I turned around, and Brian was on one knee with a beautiful emerald-cut diamond ring.
They wanted their engagement pictures to reflect their favorite places in New York City. “One of our first dates was a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, so that seemed like the perfect place to start.” The couple lives in Greenwich Village so that was also a natural spot for some photos, we even snuck up on the roof top where the couple had their first kiss and snapped some photos sitting on that same been. “We really enjoyed shooting photos around our neighborhood. Alicia made the session fun and captured breathtaking images of us around downtown Manhattan!”
