A bit of bubbly and some chocolate too, show them you care before you say “I do”! We’ve got the sweetest DIY surprise to greet your bridesmaids’ arrival, it’s a welcomed treat straight from the lens of Ruth Eileen Photography that they’re all going to love. Because really, who wouldn’t be happy to see a mini box filled with champagne, chocolate and flowers upon their arrival?!

Mini prosecco bottles (1-2 per box)

Fancy chocolates or truffles

Aqua & gold dot paper (1/2 sheet per box)

Gold striped paper(1/2 sheet per box)

Aqua velvet ribbon

Aqua thin satin ribbon (we found ours at Michaels)

Small glass bottles

Fresh flowers (we like luscious big blooms like Peonies)

Aqua chevron straws

Gold & white paper shred

Paper treat boxes

Medium paper maché boxes

Glue stick

Scissors

Wrap the outside of the paper maché box in the gold striped paper and set the box lid aside. Cut the striped paper to fit each side with about an inch extra to wrap over the top and inside edge of the box, then glue in place on the box. Cut the gold dotted aqua paper to fit the inside of the box bottom & sides, with each side about 1/4″ shorter than the top edge of the box. Glue inside the box.

Assemble the small paper treat box according to the instructions on the package and fill with fancy chocolates. Tie box closed with a bit of satin ribbon.

Tie about 16″ of velvet ribbon around the neck of the prosecco and a chevron straw. Fill the glass bottle with water and add a flower stem or two.

Fill the box halfway with gold and white paper shred filler. Carve out a little spot in the filler with your fingers for the vase and the prosecco bottle(s) and add each to the box. Top with the box of chocolates, and a little note of thanks to your friend!
