From Brian Wright at French Grey Photography…Fiona wanted to surprise her boyfriend with some sexy modern boudoir photography for Christmas. They both love classic black & white Fashion photography and Bridget Bardot photographs line her bedroom walls. So when we began the early morning secret boudoir shoot, (her boyfriend flew out of town earlier that morning on a business trip) the photographs on the walls were our inspiration for the modern day boudoir shoot.
Fiona has the most amazing classical French apartment with high ceilings, original herringbone wooden flooring and a very stylish Scandinavian style in the decor. French Grey Events helped style the shoot with some fresh flowers and simple propping. Working with the amazing pieces already in the apartment, we used candles and white wardrobe pieces to style the soft and romantic part of the shoot, and then switched to darker, black and lace accents and lighting for the sexy part of the shoot.
The talented, and always fun to be around, Ciara and Charles worked their hair and make-up magic on the already stunning Fiona. Whom in turn was waiting for them, in the very early winter morning hours, with freshly brewed coffee, swedish cakes and Maxwell playing softly in the background….A beautiful stylish boudoir session ensued with us taking full advantage of the superbly styled apartment and stunning smile of the scandinavian beauty.
I’m sure that her boyfriend was very pleased with his Christmas gift this year!
