From The Bride…We were both 17 when we met. Classic story – our eyes met from across the room and we kept looking back at each other. I did the unthinkable and walked over to him and said hi- the camp we were at had stickers with your picture and contact information so you could keep in touch with the friends you made. When I walked over to him we exchanged stickers and it being the last day, the next time I saw him was when I was loading up to leave. That night I checked my Myspace (yes!) and I had a message from Mark saying “Hey, I’m Mark the tall guy you met. Did you enjoy the camp?”
Fast forward 8 years later and we have gone through so much together– it’s crazy to think how differently everything could have been had I not walked over to him that day.
Mark is my safe place to land. I could have a bad day and all it takes is him holding me to start feeling better. He has a way of making the most mundane tasks seem like fun adventures. He is a great listener, and the only person I trust with my dreams for the future- his belief in me blows me away every day. The man has a heart of gold and loves to see and make those around him happy. I’m incredibly lucky to have everything I could have asked for and more in a 6’9″ish package of gorgeousness!
From The Groom… Stephanie is the most beautiful person I have ever met. She constantly challenges me to grow in ways I never thought I could, she has helped my dreams become reality without even realizing it. I honestly have no clue how different my life would have been had I never met her. All if know is that I am so excited to see where our life together leads.
