So it’s kind of a cool story how I met these two. I was at my shop one day and all of a sudden a soops cute couple walked in. They left and another couple walked in and… no, i’m just kidding, John and Emily were the soops cute couple! So anyway, they walked in and said something like, “Hey! are you Jenna? We’re best friends with Meredith (former bride / my best friend’s sister)!” After that first encounter, we became instant friends. Emily and I bonded over crafting, yoga, and running, and Za and John bonded over surfing, being outside, and eating.
The week before John proposed to Emily, he called me up and asked me if I should shoot the proposal or just engagement photos, after she said “yes,” of course. Knowing Emily, I thought she’d like to pick out a cute dress for a photo shoot (which she did), so I suggested the latter. And here we are now.
