From Julie Paisley…Every once and awhile you have one of those weddings that just take your breath away. This was one of those weddings. Rita and Mike planned a destination wedding that was beautiful in details but most importantly was about family. Family flew in from all over the country and for 3 days they celebrated in beautiful Lanai Hawaii. The wedding was not your traditional Hawaiian beach wedding. Rita incorporated more of a southern rustic feel with beautiful florals and texture. Rita and Mike chose to only have their children and nieces as part as the wedding party as well as their parents who stood up with them during the ceremony. As a photographer, it was such an honor to be present and when Rita’s father (who is battling Parkinson’s disease) surprised her with a Father/Daughter dance, there was not a dry eye in the house. This wedding is so beautiful and needs to be shared and I hope SMP is the perfect fit.
