From Justin DeMutiis Photography… Lindsay and Dennis began their adventure one magical night in Hong Kong. With just one look and a smile, their lives were changed forever. With a shared love of cooking and traveling together, this international couple, Lindsay from Pennsylvania and Dennis from Sweden would share their two loves and create a celebration of memories that will last a lifetime!
Lindsay and Dennis selected the one and only Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida as the place they would declare their love openly to each other in front of their nearest and dearest family and friends. The day was full of love and emotion beginning with sweet moments while everyone was getting to Lindsay’s grand entrance into the ceremony. She entered the ceremony to a beautifully played, “Happiness Does Not End” by Olafur Arnalds, a song that was very meaningful to them both. Dennis met Lindsay as she was walking the aisle and the two completed their walk together to become husband and wife. They each declared their own personal written vows to each other and exchanged rings. They were married!
The celebration continued while guests enjoyed the Bride’s Bellini and the Groom’s Gin and Tonic as signature cocktails as well as an assortment of passed hors d’eouvres during the cocktail hour. The space was filled with candles and soft hues to capture the love of Lindsay and Dennis. The dinner experience was extremely important to Lindsay and Dennis. So the groom relied on his brother, a chef and his Best Man to create a customized five course dinner and his sister to pair each course with a specialty cocktail. The Swedes and American’s enjoyed Swedish songs and toasts to the bride and groom along with heartfelt speeches shared by their loved ones throughout the dinner. The tables were exquisite with soft florals and candles galore, it was the perfect back drop to this fun filled evening. As the final dessert and cordials were served it was ready to move to the dance floor; where the guests danced the rest of the night away!
It was a magical beginning for Lindsay and Dennis and would become the start to their new adventure as husband and wife!
