I want to surround myself with this wedding right here; take all the lovely colors and beautiful blooms by Grass Roots and wrap them all around me. Toss in some of these tasty treats by Pure Joy Catering and it's pretty much my definition of paradise. Jen Rodriguez was lucky enough to actually witness this stunner in real life and her pics just made my Monday a whole lot better.

From the Bride... We knew we wanted to do a destination wedding to keep it a little smaller and also make it a very special celebration for us and all our family and friends. We wanted everyone to look forward to it and make a weekend of our wedding. We had been to Santa Barbara a few times together for random trips and we really love this city. It always made us happy and was a true getaway for us so even before we got engaged we talked about how awesome it could be to get married there. Our vision has always been something that represents us - fun, casual but beautiful and hopefully effortless looking (although it's a lot of work put into it!). I wanted everything to be romantic and soft - string lights and candles. We also like the natural look that's so California and Santa Barbara - outdoors, wood, trees - so we had wooden tables without linens.

We were so looking forward to having all the most important and supportive people in our lives all together in one place - family from NYC, St Louis, Korea, Seattle, LA, etc. and friends from every part of our lives (childhood, college, work, etc). We couldn't wait to celebrate with everyone! And of course I couldn't wait to marry Ernie. We are so looking forward to this new part of our lives together as husband and wife!

From Jen Rodríguez Photography... I absolutely loved everything about Christina and Ernie's wedding. The day started at their hotel getting ready before venturing over to the Santa Barbara Mission where Ernie and Christina did their first look. After taking some photographs on the ground the bridal party jumped into a big trolley to take them to the Historical Museum. Everything about their ceremony and reception spoke to who Christina and Ernie are as a couple. Their wedding was warm, inviting, absolutely beautiful, and tons of fun. One of my favorite points in the day was later on after the sun had set, looking out onto the packed dance floor and everyone was laughing and having the best time, all while the stunning market lights twinkled above them. It was absolutely beautiful and I'm so thankful I got to capture those moments for them.
