From Park Road Photography…The special moment between spring and summer, when the barrenness of winter suddenly disappears and nature explodes into color. It’s my favorite time of year, bursting with light and promise, delicacy and strength.
“Soft yet strong” was the inspiration behind this wedding editorial at Riverside Event Center in Spokane, Washington. We loved combining the delicacy of hand-lettered invitations and menus (not to mention a gorgeous lace gown by Claire La Faye) with the strength and sophistication of black and white—the softness of pastel florals with the boldness of bright peonies and lilacs. Gold and geometric accents enhanced the overall feel of the session and paired perfectly with the soft yet strong beauty of the historic venue. Shot in both digital and film, I wanted to capture the essence of nature’s finest hues.
