From Katherine of Clover EventsThe inspiration behind this shoot came from the beautiful details in the Symphony Center’s Grainger Ballroom. With its high ceilings embellished with crystal chandeliers and sconces, and an extraordinary view overlooking Michigan Avenue, we knew we had to emphasize the old world romanticism you feel the second you walk into the ballroom. We also wanted to draw inspiration from the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, which popped against the neutral tones in the ballroom. This striking color was incorporated throughout the shoot in the rich linens, beautiful flowers, and vintage dinnerware.

From Alyssa of Alyssa KristinTo complement the grandiose ballroom, we wanted the gown that was both dramatic and glamorous. The seven foot train and silhouette of the Alessandra provided just that. Additionally, the softness and texture of the cascading tulle added a touch of refined femininity to the affair.
