From Carolly Photography… How can you not fall in love with the beautiful coast of Southern California? Malibu was the perfect location for us and our inspiration came from the natural colors of the sand and beautiful, grandiose rocks, engulfed by the color of the endless sea and blue skies. The color palette we chose was soft silver tones with cool blue hues brought out with whites and silver.
The floral inspiration from Indigo & Plum was an organic creation, a little understated, yet full of light greenery and white blooms for a clean look. The tablescape gave some glamour to the coast shoot. Vintage pieces were from Borrowed Blu, Chloe+Mint, Mint Vintage and La Tavola. Our bar setting blended fluidly against our beach canvas. S’More Sweets’ beautiful cake echoed the ocean waves with blues and silvers, and mussels to represent life under the sea.
We dressed our bride in relaxed yet elegant and ethereal gowns from BHLDN and Alexandra Grecco, adorned with bridal cap veil from Veiled Beauty. The bride’s hair and makeup were soft and natural, and impeccably done by Theresa Huang’s artists. Invitations from Smitten on Paper were inspired by the mossy rocks and ocean blues. We hope that this styled inspiration shoot will give couples lots of ideas to jump off of for their own wedding on the beach.
