Elegant Spring Wedding at the Tarrytown House

This dynamic duo threw a stunning soiree filled with a mix of traditionally romantic pieces, (hello, full-skirted gown and cathedral-length veil!) and distinctively modern details, like the Groom’s sockless Givenchy dress shoes and Bride’s Valentino Rockstud pumps. Take a peak at the stylish gallery here — perfectly captured through Lindsay Madden Photography‘s lens — and prepare to swoon!

From Lindsay Madden PhotographyOn a beautiful spring day, Sarah and Evan were married in front of their closest family and friends at Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington, New York. Shortly after their ceremony, we traveled to the Tarrytown House for portraits. We found a beautiful nook with gorgeous, natural light {my favorite!} and I was able to capture so many timeless and heartfelt moments between the newlyweds. Sarah looked absolutely breathtaking in her Romona Keveza dress (it had pockets too!) and Valentino shoes while Evan’s classic look was made up of a custom tux and Givenchy shoes. Sarah’s bridesmaids’ looked so elegant in their navy Jim Hjelm dresses. Sarah’s cascading bouquet was filled with ivy and garden roses in peach and ivory. It was stunning! Sarah’s mom spent a year collecting different white milk glass vases which were the reception centerpieces. Each vase was filled with beautiful garden roses and small votive candles provided the warm and romantic ambiance. Sarah, Evan and their guests all danced the night away thanks to the talented Live Wire band.
