Romantic + Elegant Calistoga Fall Wedding

This California celebration is a prime example of what makes me a happy camper, hitting every single stylish note perfectly. From Max Gill’s florals to the gorgeous color palette with metallic touches from Bourne Paper Co., and ending with one epic dance party, L’Relyea Events led one show stopping moment after another. The de Jaureguis’ captured every single one and these pics won’t be leaving my desktop anytime soon.

From The Bride… Dan and I met through mutual friends and began dating after we joined the same co-ed sports league. The support of our friends and family has always been important to our relationship, so we knew we wanted our wedding to be a celebration that was just as much about the people in our lives as it was about our marriage.

We chose Solage Calistoga as the site of our wedding. Not only did it offer a beautiful backdrop, their menu is incredible. Dan was sold after trying their fried chicken, which we ended up serving at our wedding.

I own a stationery studio (Bourne Paper Co) so for me the paper goods set the tone for our wedding design. I’ve always appreciated vintage goods and living in San Francisco, I fell in love with stamped tin ceiling panels. My business partner, Krystal, and I designed an invitation suite that coupled an embossed pattern inspired by tin ceiling panels with calligraphy by Anne Robin for a vintage feel. I also wanted to include a metallic element, so we created monogrammed etched copper tags used to tie each invitation suite together. We incorporated tin ceiling panels in our wedding décor as well, including custom lounge tables built by Ravizza Design. The florals were the focal point of each table. Max Gill created beautiful arrangements from garden roses and snowberries, which paired perfectly with vintage copper candle holders I’d sourced from local flea markets.

Dan made sure to put his touches on the wedding well. The biggest hit of the night was by far the ice cream sundae bar. As a throwback to childhood, Dan found miniature baseball helmets for our hometown teams that we used as bowls, just like during his Danville Little League days.

Dan and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day. We’re especially grateful to have had Erin & Courtney there to capture our day. Not only did they deliver stunning work (that light!), they were a true pleasure to work with from start to finish. Thank you to all of our family, friends and talented vendors for a memorable start to our marriage.
