DIY Jam Jar Favors with Avery

Saying “thank you” on your wedding day is always a little sweeter when it’s a favor crafted with your own two hands. Especially when that favor is a yummy jam jar created with the help of Avery, the labels + tags + more making gurus that will help you find that inner crafting goddess in two seconds flat.  Check out the super tasty how-to below… and prepare to wow each and every one of your friends.

Make some strawberry jam (one batch makes about 6-7 jars of jam). We used this recipe.

Print the “Thank you” label onto the iron transfer paper. Cut off excess iron transfer paper.

Place the “Thank you” label face down on the muslin bag and iron on according to the iron transfer instructions. Repeat for remaining bags.

Print the “Spread the love” labels onto the 2” round labels, and the “Fresh biscuit” labels onto the 2.5” round labels.

Cut out a circle of fabric that is about an inch larger than the diameter of the jar lid. Make one circle per jar.

Tie the fabric onto each jar lid. Cut a 4” piece of washi tape and cut a triangle out of each end. Press the washi tape over the jar lid. Press a “Spread the love” label on top of the jar, repeat with remaining jars.

Wrap each biscuit (store bought or homemade) in wax paper and press on a “Fresh biscuit” label. Fill each thank you bag with jam and biscuit.
