From the beautiful Bride… I had dreamt about my wedding day since I was a little girl, even more so than most little girls, because my mother was in the wedding industry and I was surrounded by bridal gowns every day! But I must say, our actual wedding turned out to be more amazing than my wildest dreams.

We knew that we wanted a fall wedding, so we settled on Thanksgiving weekend because I have cousins in the US Naval Academy, and they were an integral part of our wedding. It was a chilly weekend in Baltimore, but we hardly noticed. The sun was shining and that’s all that mattered! My Allure dress was the centerpiece and inspiration for the rest of our wedding planning. I loved the Swarovski crystals and beading, and the soft flow of the English Net skirt. My vision was set on a romantic-glam theme with an elegant vibe.

We chose to have our wedding ceremony at The Baltimore Basilica. My family is Roman Catholic, and the Basilica is the most iconic church in Baltimore, as well as the first cathedral in America! We felt blessed to be able to have our ceremony in such a sacred and beautiful church. My grandfather gave me away, and sharing that moment with him was the most special experience of my life.

I fell in love with the ballroom at The Belvedere as soon as I laid eyes on it. It was glamourous, yet not over-the-top. I wanted a ballroom with spectacular chandeliers, and the chandeliers in the Charles Ballroom’s could not be beat! We loved the combination of plum and gold, and the ballroom complemented those colors perfectly. With the 1930’s vibe of the iconic landmark, I really wanted the reception to feel elegant, timeless, and classy. I incorporated lots of softly-lit candles, gold sparkling placecards, and neutral uplighting. The flowers were a mix of purples, greens, and whites; matching the bridesmaids bouquets. The gold candelabras were a must, and I fell in love with them as soon as I laid eyes on them! The head table was something that we truly loved; it was amazing to be surrounded by our family and bridal party and let them know how much they mean to us.

The most important thing to us about our reception was for the dance floor to be packed all night long– and it was! My family is Italian, and adding some Italian elements to our reception was very important to me. Dancing to The Tarantella was our favorite part of the reception!

From Dyanna Joy PhotographyIt was the day after Thanksgiving. Christine was flawless in her Allure princess style wedding gown, as if she was born to wear this dress. On this day, she was the center of the universe and everyone revolved around her, admiring her beauty, her grace, and smile.

White and purple flowers were delivered, champagne was poured, and Justin couldn’t take his eyes off his bride in white.

The sun had set and it was time for the ceremony. Christine walked down the lengthy, awe-inspiring aisle, holding on to the arms of her grandfather. And when she finally made it to the front, Justin was there to take her hand, as he will be for the rest of their lives, whether it’s to ask her to dance or to help her out of a car. Her hands will always be safe in his.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks, dinner, and dancing at the Belvedere Hotel.
