From the beautiful Bride… For most of my adolescence, I remember daydreaming about the man with whom I would fall in love with. How much of a fairytale it would be to spend everyday with someone who loves you just as much as you love them. Having someone to enjoy movies next to and a best friend to share inside jokes with.
Being a newlywed, all of these things are simply amazing. Although there is one thing that will always stand out and will never get old to me. Getting to say the word husband as often as I please.
I was just a 22-year-old girl, fresh out of college, and working for my dad. I had a great group of friends, wonderful and supportive family, and a fun job. I did not even feel like anything was missing. That was until I met Kyle. He is the most genuinely selfless, kind-hearted person I have ever met, and after the first moment we spent together, I knew I never wanted to go another day without him. The moment I saw him, I could picture him standing at the altar waiting for me on our wedding day. Fast-forward five years, and my dreams came true.
Since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to get married on my dad’s ranch in Aspen, Colorado. I could not wait for June 14, 2014. My dad had been battling cancer the prior two years, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world that he kicked it and was able to walk me down the aisle. I have never felt more beautiful and radiant than I did that day. I am so fortunate to have had my best friends and family there to support me. There are too many wonderful memories to highlight a favorite, but to sum it up, the whole day was pure magic.
From Bluebird Productions…We loved assisting Sage and Kyle with their romantic Aspen wedding. We began working with Sage shortly before her darling son, Brixton was born. She had always dreamed of the perfect fairytale romance and wedding. This day became a reality in June 2014 due to the collaboration of many vendors as we mixed a classic and traditional feel yet still appropriate to the outdoor and mountain locale. From an acrylic chuppah that allowed guests to see past the structure to the gorgeous mountains behind, a boxwood hedge covered with mirrors serving as an escort card “wall”, to a large tent full of soft and feminine details, each element of Sage’s wedding was crafted with guest experience and beauty in mind.
