From Rachael Hall PhotographyReba and Ryan are a remarkable couple. I knew Reba as a fellow wedding industry colleague; she is an amazing event planner with such an eye for design. This wedding was a family affair, in that several of us: Sweet August Events, Rachael Hall Photography and 2tarts Bakery, all good friends, worked together to create an unforgettable wedding for one of our own.

I couldn’t have been more excited to bring Reba and Ryan’s vision of their wedding day to life. They met in the Texas State Marching Band and carried the theme of music and their mutual love of Disney throughout their very stylish, modern wedding. Reba’s father passed away very unexpectedly a few years ago, and she is extremely close to her mother, Amy. It was important to Reba for me to reflect that in photographs.

The day was absolutely perfect with a bright blue Texas sky, and Reba looked radiant in her gown. Ryan’s uncle is a Catholic priest and had the special honor of performing their wedding mass. Reba’s friend and boss, Katherine Lopez, who owns Sweet August Events, did a phenomenal job of transforming The Landmark Loft Clubhouse into a vision of modern design. From laser-cut mirrors which listed the seating chart, to Ghost Chairs and signs on each table containing the title of a Disney love song and the amazing, lush florals and succulents provided by Statue of Design, Reba and Ryan’s wedding was breath-taking. 2tarts Bakery did their gold standard work by providing a crisp, modern palette of desserts in grey and white with bold accents of emerald.

From the beautiful Bride… From the day Ryan asked me to marry him I knew I wanted our day to be incredible and I needed to find the most incredible people to make it happen. Our vendors brought our vision to life, Katherine Lopez with Sweet August Events, my boss, made sure that every detail was perfect and exactly what I asked for. Rachael with Rachael Hall Photography captured the true essence of the magical day. With such a wonderful group of vendors who I work with on a daily basis I knew the day would be perfect, and it was.

I had always dreamed of getting married at Walt Disney World but our theme of Modern Romance seemed to fit our relationship perfectly and so course we had to throw in small touches of Disney wherever we could. My absolute favorite part of the day was standing in our reception space with my husband and looking around at beautiful décor that we designed and imagined together. At that moment surrounded by our family and closest friends we felt truly at home and overwhelmed with happiness.
