From French Kiss Events… When I first began chatting with Kim and Sheridon, their only request was for a bright and cheerful wedding, filled with the Kim’s favorite colors: pink and orange. Getting to work with such bright colors was so much fun, and inspired the rest of the decor for their wedding.
Being right on the ocean, the couple wanted to make sure their guests could enjoy the beautiful view and get a real sense of Victoria BC. So, set at the stunning Inn at Laurel Point, we created a modern vibe through the specialty furniture, bright linens and food service. The reception was served cocktail style, with fun cocktails (named after the trips they have taken together), gourmet food stations, and a glamorous cake pop display! The color was infused all throughout the decor, and kept the space feeling bright and fun. Definitely a refreshing take on a summer wedding palette!
Being a part of this wedding was so special, and getting to witness the love that these two have for each other and their families, was truly spectacular. Their personalities were spotlighted throughout, my favorite of which being the hot pink layer of crinoline that was added under the bride’s dress. So unique, and was the icing on top of the cake, to this perfect day!
