MORE MOUTHS = MORE OPINIONS

While you might think this is a good time to include your future in-laws, remember that their tastes might try to sway yours! To keep stress low, keep this appointment between you and your guy.

MIND YOUR SCHEDULE

Often times couples visit a bakery right after their dinner tasting and are stuffed. A lot of bakeries offer a good size piece of cake in several different flavors so you’ll want to make sure you’ve got room to sample all of your favorites (and maybe even something different)! Schedule some room to digest before dessert!

DO YOUR RESEARCH

Check out the bakeries ahead of time to get an idea for their decorating style and flair. School yourself on the differences between buttercream and fondant. There’s nothing worse than being disappointed when you find out the bakery specializes in a totally different cake other than the cake of your dreams.
