Sweet Malibu Engagement Session

I’m pretty sure that Marlene and John of Koman Photography are magnets for the sweetest couples ever. And these two cuties? Well, they are surely no exception. They’ve drenched this gallery with their beautiful love and threw in some fun details for good measure—from a pink beach cruiser to the heart garland, it’s adorable as ever.

From the beautiful Bride-to-be… Sam and I first met in downtown Los Angeles at a mutual friend’s housewarming. Upon first meeting, I didn’t pay much notice to Sam, but after a few more chance encounters I became interested to know more about this fun-loving and easy-going guy. Through multiple chat sessions on Facebook and enough patience by Sam to endure dinner dates at 11pm due to my new job, he won my heart. After a year of dating, he proposed to me in Italy, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to able to share our life journey together.

For the engagement session, we really wanted a fun, natural, and whimsical feeling that will capture who we are as a couple. Luckily our amazing photographers, Marlene & John Koman, knew the perfect spots in the Malibu hills. We had perfect lighting for a playful picnic underneath a majestic oak tree, reminding us of our hike in Cinque Terre the morning after the proposal. We then headed down to the beach at Paradise Cove, which mimicked the night of the engagement where we walked along the sandy shores of Vernazza. The entire day together was a ton of fun, and we’re both so glad to have these photos as dear memories.
