From the beautiful Bride… The first time Zeid and I got coffee we were co-workers living in states over 3,000 miles apart, both dating other people. It should’ve been an ordinary day, an innocuous cup of coffee, but something clicked and we knew it. I called my grandmother right after and told her that I had met the most amazing man. Fast forward several months later, we began our long-distance dating adventure. After a relocation to the same state and 1000 days of dating (yes he counted) Zeid proposed.

Some little girls spend years imagining their gowns or their flowers on their “big days”, but I was the girl who knew for years what music I wanted to walk down the aisle to – “Joy” by George Winston. A friend from college ended up learning to play it on the piano for me and that made it even more special.

I think what surprised me the most about the ceremony was how natural everything felt. I was a little jittery right before, but experienced an overwhelming sense of peace and calm once my dad and I began to walk down the aisle. Everything was the way it was meant to be.

So many of our family and friends helped out to add finishing touches and make logistics easier and that was very humbling. The day played out like a fairy tale and we feel incredibly blessed and thankful.
