Modern Fall Wedding at Santa Barbara Historical Museum

Neon pink, while I harbor a strong love for it, can be hard to pull off, especially at a wedding. Sweet Emilia Jane hit the nose on the head with this modern California celebration with their hot pink touches and everything else for that matter. Studio Castillero caught it all on camera and I just may be keeping some of these fun photos up for an extra dash of inspiration for the next several days.

From Sweet Emilia Jane… Melanie and Justin have such unique, cool styles. It was so much fun bringing their different tastes to the table, so to speak, and creating a wedding that was a true reflection of them as a couple. They have vivacious, bold personalities and the quirky, fun details we created like the hot pink garden gnome guestbook, gold animals and painted flatware really showcased the two of them. We didn’t want to stick to a specific theme but, instead, brought together a variety of elements from different styles – elegant, rustic, glam, modern, eclectic – but made it work with a cohesive color palette, coordinating paper decor and a gorgeous yet neutral setting. We just love the way these unexpected details worked in the beautiful Santa Barbara Historical Museum. We could not have asked for a more top-notch group of vendors. Room Forty and Pharmacie LA killed it with their deliciously beautiful culinary creations and fresh cocktails. They have totally redefined the way wedding food is perceived and we love their unique, stylish approach to food service. RedShoeLA should be invited to every wedding, the dance party was epic and definitely a highlight of the evening. We could not have asked for a better decor partner than Tent Merchant. Their massive rental collection is just breathtaking and such an inspiration! S.R. Hogue’s centerpieces were such a cool mix of elegant and rustic with wonderful elements like vegetables and herbs tucked together with gorgeous dahlias and protea. Every single vendor brought their A game and loads of style. It was a truly modern, rustic wedding!
