From The Bride-to-be…It was a beautiful Fall day in St. Augustine Florida, just over a year out from our BIG DAY! It was the first time meeting our photographers, the amazing Brooke Images. We all hit if off so well, even running over our time limit because we were all having so much fun! Ashley and Greg made us feel so comfortable and captured every bit of us so well.
As an offbeat couple, we love to be a little different, yet still show the world who we are together. Lovers of Jack Johnson, we were inspired by his song “Better Together” because, honestly my fiancé, Alain, is my other half, my best friend, and we really are better together. After 7 amazing years together, this session was all about our quirky love story and how far we have come. It was a celebration of our love and one step closer to our biggest adventure yet! We wanted to include all of our family so we incorporated our little pomeranian, Tika, she was the happiest little pup on the planet since “mommy and daddy are getting married.” When we started planning for the shoot, we really just wanted to showcase our love, our personalities, the beautiful city we are getting married in, and the feel/colors of our wedding. It all just came together so flawlessly and was so much fun to plan together. We are a laid back couple who loves having fun and Brooke Images captured our love perfectly!
There’s a quote I feel is very fitting for our engagement shoot:
Piglet- “How do you spell ‘love’?”
Pooh: “You don’t spell it…you feel it.”
And you can definitely feel the love in our shoot.
