I told a friend the other day that I think I am turning into a winter person. She looked at me like I was crazy, but this pretty little shoot from Casey James Photography is a fabulous example of why I've become #teamwinter. It's so cozy and intimate, and you can almost feel that crisp, fresh mountain air. And how could you not love a season that basically requires cuddling? See more winter goodness here.

From Jess...I am so thrilled to share this amazing shoot that I was lucky enough to be a part of. As a fashion blogger and stylist, it is important for me to showcase my sense of style in a unique way. This is why I teamed up with the magnificent Casey James Photography Amber Reverie to bring you a wintry holiday shoot with a stylish flair: perfect for this time of year!

Picture this. Majestic, snow-capped mountains that look close enough to touch. The smell of fresh pine fills the air as a gust of cold air breezes through my hair. I'm in Utah. I never even know this kind of beauty existed. Coming from palm trees and endless sunshine, Utah is a breath of fresh air. Literally. It is impossible not to take advantage of the jaw-dropping scenery here. Lucky for me, Utah is brimming with talented individuals who feed into all my ideas.

For this shoot I envisioned light, airy photos that spoke without words. From his impeccable photography, to his effortless videography, Casey James Photography did not disappoint. I also wanted to incorporate holiday elements into the shoot. Amber Reverie whipped up a large pine and juniper wreath with hints of gray-blue berries. She also made a matching crown for my puppy, which I ended up stealing. (It was too pretty!) All the colors of the wreaths combined with the subdued hues of our outfits created the most lovely wintry effect. We hope you love this shoot as much as we do! It's always such a pleasure working with talented people who grasp each other's visions in their entirety.
