Mint, Gold and Blush Wedding Inspiration Shoot

There is something about this time of year that leaves me hungry for inspiration. Perhaps it’s the clean slate that comes with the turn of the calendar, but whatever it is, I soak up inspiration like a sponge. And I couldn’t be happier to do so when it’s as pretty as this shoot below from Little Flower Shop and Cojo Photo.  Filled with the prettiest hues of mint, blush and gold this gallery is a great place to devour some seriously good inspiration.

From Cojo PhotoWe wanted to do a styled shoot, and gathered some of the best vendors in Winnipeg/Manitoba to collaborate with us. We went with a Mint, Gold, Blush and White theme for the shoot. The shoot was setup as to be a mock wedding and inspiration for other brides out there. We had the dress and the color scheme and got in touch with the other vendors to make the rest of it happen. A lot of great people came together to make this one happen.

The bride is Amanda Jonasson (She is also the other half of Cojo Photo, she is also responsible for coming up with the idea for this shoot.) Bridesmaid is her friend Kristen, Groom is Mike, and the Groomsman is Ryan. When getting the vendors together for this one we pretty much told them the theme we were working with and let them go with it and come up with the rest to show off their talents. The table by Haven Design was our first building block for the shoot, everything needed to go with it. Without that table it just wouldn’t have been the same.

From Little Flower ShopThe color theme and feel was the first thing that needed to be addressed. The inspiration colors are gold, mint, & ivory. The feel was rustic/vintage…this came from the beautiful table used in the shoot and definitely made the statement that was required to move forward with the accessories needed to bring the vintage to light! We had used classic mahogany chiavari chairs and lace runners adorned with gold beaded chargers set for six. To balance thid gorgeous table we hung a black wrought iron chandelier above it and then we smothered it in seeded eucalyptus. This alone was quite the eye catcher :) With a rectangle table we were able to put several sizes and styles of candle holders all through the center that filled in the body of the table.

We added gold mercury vases filled with ivory roses, blush roses and sahara roses from Peru. We simply put gold candelabras in on plain pillars for more interest and background. We then did a bride bouquet In a free flow style with a matching bridesmaid bouquet. The roses were sahara, ivory roses, blush roses, and seeded eucalyptus.

Wrapped in burlap and lace we did matching boutonniere for the groom and groomsmen in the same roses and seeded eucalyptus for the coordinating feel.
