From Karen Hill Photography… Rumi and Rei’s wedding ceremony took place a week earlier in Tokyo, Japan. The groom, Rei, is a New Yorker and met Rumi while working in Japan. (He’s from NYC and is half Japanese). Their friends and families traveled to both events and the party just continued! Talk about colliding cultures, jet lag and language barriers; it was amazing.
There are so many things to love about this wedding party – the gorgeous relaxed decor, the flowers, happy people, the adorable couple, the groom’s father singing and playing guitar in a band as a surprise to the couple, (total surprise!) and the amazing story of love across the world.
How fitting to have their cocktail party on top of the world at Le Parker Meridian Estrella Penthouse in NYC with the most incredible view of the city and Central Park. Such a great love story!
