I love New York! I might be biased since this wedding takes place in my old neighborhood, but in my humble opinion it doesn't get better than a Bride wearing Amsale at the Gramercy Park Hotel. The talented Sasithon Photography was behind the lens snapping up a gallery filled with family tradition and classic New York moments that'll have you scrolling for more here!

From The Bride...We wanted a classic and romantic New York wedding where everyone felt like they were at a great dinner party with friends and family. Our wedding took place atop the Gramercy Park Hotel which was a perfect and stunning venue. We loved the indoor/outdoor feel of the rooftop with the lush, green garden and the wraparound terrace that was lined with candlelit lanterns and candles. The venue has a lot of world class art that created pops of color as well as a light bulb room which added a lot of dimension to the space. To match the vibrant décor we worked with flower designer, Denise Fasanello, who created beautiful flower arrangements and amazing bouquets of cream, light pink and green that complimented the space beautifully.

We also had an incredible photographer, Sasithon Pooviriyakul, who truly understood our vision for the wedding and captured so many beautiful moments of our wedding day. To recognize Kai’s family’s Chinese tradition we had a tea ceremony right after the wedding ceremony. The parents and elders were served cups of tea while giving well wishes to us through gifts of gold jewelry and money. It was a special time to recognize the family members that will continue to guide and support our marriage. Food was an important component for us because we love to cook and eat. So many of our favorite moments has been traveling to new cities or finding a new restaurant in the city.

We decided on a four course meal focused on seasonal local ingredients. We also loved our signature drink, a blood orange jalapeño margarita which was perfect for summer! The tables were set up during cocktail hour with a dramatic reveal of the seating which was dotted with beautiful flowers and candles. It truly was the best dinner party of our lives!
