When I go to my happy place, I’m surrounded by wildflowers, loved ones and of course, looking very stylish. So basically, everything about this wedding. The flowers are beautiful, the bride is beaming, and Lushana Bale snapped up every moment. With this glorious gallery, I now have the perfect images to supplement those daydreams and I’ll be there for rest of the day – guaranteed.
From Lushana Bale… Cassandra and Andrew’s wedding was the epitome of a breezy, elegant summer wedding. They got married at the Windermere House, a cute little hotel and restaurant idyllically located overlooking Lake Rosseau in scenic Muskoka. Andrew and Cassandra are such a kind, genuine, fun-loving couple – and photogenic too!
Cassandra made a gorgeous bride in a beautiful lace gown by Pronovias, and an amazing bouquet created by florist Tanya List. The groom wore a trendy mismatched Ted Baker blazer and Tiger of Sweden pant combo with bow tie, while the bridal party wore equally chic mismatched outfits of their own choosing. Cassandra was one of the few brides I’ve worked with who didn’t appear nervous at all, just completely happy and excited to be getting married. Cassandra and her bridesmaids started the day off getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite with styling by The Colour Room, a trendy salon based in Toronto, where Cassandra works as a stylist.
The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the Windermere House against the beautiful backdrop of the lake. After the ceremony guests relaxed with a cocktail reception on the front lawn featuring a custom cocktail and music by Toronto singer-songwriter Alanna Matty. I was able to steal Cassandra and Andrew away for some photos around the grounds and down at the docks as the late evening sun began to set. The evening featured a delicious three-course dinner catered by the Windermere House’s Oliver and Bonacini restaurant, some short but hilarious speeches, and a low-key mix of dancing and relaxing on the patio under the full moon.
