Pink St. Pete Beach Wedding

When I first laid eyes on this stunner from Autumn Cutaia Photography, I instantly fell in love with these two. They have a love that floats in the air and warms you like sweet sunshine, and surrounds every inch of this pink-filled gallery. In between the slightly preppy, totally romantic vibe of this soiree, you’ll catch yourself swooning over those wide pearly-white smiles and soft embraces. See it all here!

From the beautiful Bride…Zack and I met at the Apple Store. He trained me when I started working there, and was my very first friend in Chicago. He went from first friend, to best friend, to i-am-completely-in-love-with-you-and-you-have-no-idea friend. Thankfully, the feeling was mutual and he proposed to me over Lake Michigan with screaming and fist pumping to follow. We planned our wedding together, and as a wedding planner myself (post Apple store employment), it really should have been a breeze. However, add emotional attachment to your own wedding (let’s be real) and it can be more of a challenge. I am however thoroughly thrilled with how our entire wedding panned out.

I could not have really asked for a more beautiful venue, it looks like an updated Great Gatsby set. The Don Cesar was so kind and accommodating to me and all my guests. When we arrived in Florida, I was outside for about three seconds and the humidity made my hair explode, they moved the entire ceremony inside with no complaints.

Our wedding was based off a love of J. Crew. We wanted clean lines and dark colors complimented with blush tones and hints of gold. All of the details were made by Zack and I in our one bedroom apartment. We traded movie dates for making paper flowers and perfected the art of napkin folding instead of taking downtown strolls.

My favorite parts of our wedding were speeches from our best friends. The way our bridal party didn’t know each other but became close friends over a weekend. The fact almost 90% of the people invited actually showed up, even if 80% of them lived in other states. My hair pin, it’s adorable and I’m in love with it still. Our timeline which by magic actually went on time. I thank my wedding planner stars for that miracle, and finally the way our photographer captured how Zack looked at me the entire night, and the way I still catch him looking at me like that months later. We are forever grateful for each other and each person who was a part of our wedding.
