No doubt about it, The Lord Thompson Manor knows how to throw a wedding. Like the kind that has immaculately manicured grounds, elegantly arranged florals and perfectly personalized details - so yeah, basically the BEST kind. But, don't take our word for it. From the Photographer Tara Lynn Sen...Owners Jackie and Andrew of The Lord Thompson Manor created the most picture-perfect, stunning celebration for Becky & San’s love-filled Wedding Day. Becky and San chose the absolute perfect venue for creating an event that perfectly captured their personalities and love for one another as well as the traditions, culture and beauty of their families. Jackie and Andrew set the stage for guests to be whisked away into an elegant fairy tale as every square inch of the manor was graced with this couple’s perfect and personal touches.

I was in love with Becky and San’s sophisticated coral and grey palette, brought to life with Jackie’s gorgeous decor including beautiful pashminas for their female guests. The clean lines of San’s custom suit from La Rukico of New York were made modern and fun with his coral tie to perfectly compliment Becky’s amazing and bright bouquet. Becky’s glam styling was the work of the very talented Priscilla of The Lord Thompson Manor’s KISS Salon. Her bright red lips, luscious lashes and gorgeous blond locks perfectly upswept gave me visions of a modern Grace Kelly. In the pockets of her lovely Paloma Blanca dress, Becky carried an angel pin from her grandmother, pictures of those watching her wedding from above and a handkerchief her mother had created from the sleeve of her own wedding gown. This was only the beginning of the personal touches that made it so clear how tremendously huge Becky & San’s hearts are.

Before their first look, they exchanged beautiful cards which set the stage for tears of joy as they saw one another for the first time in the presence of their families and bridal party. They wrote their own vows, touching everyone who witnessed their love and as guests entered the reception, they were greeted with a thank-you card that included a picture of them with either Becky or San capturing a memory the couple held dear with their guest. During the ceremony, San presented his bride with a beautiful gold Thali which was blessed by their families. Their first dance rocked the reception with a choreographed mash-up of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind.”

The romance created by The Lord Thompson Manor enveloped the evening, with candlelight glowing from every corner. Hank Lane Music created an awesome party and helped set the stage for a surprise traditional Sri-Lankan dance gifted by San’s family. Videography by CinemaCake created one of the most gorgeous Wedding Day videos I have yet to see and their artistry was amazing to partner with. I am so honored to have been a special part of Becky & San’s Wedding Day and their wedding will definitely be one that stays vivid in my mind for years to come.
