Boho Spring Wedding in NYC

Any time an Emily Steffen wedding comes our way, I brace myself for pure gorgeousness. She’s got a way with the camera and attracts some of the coolest clients around, so when she sent over Casi and Ben’s hipster-chic nuptials in NYC…well, I knew we’d happened upon something really good. It’s a day filled with quiet springtime romance, and in case you want more it’s all sitting right here.

From Emily SteffenCasi and Ben aren’t NY natives…in fact, they are from the great state of Wisconsin (yay) and have recently moved to call NYC home together…so photos in Central Park, with buildings peeking through the trees, was perfect for them! An intimate ceremony in a downtown Manhattan church, followed by a “cake sprinkle” throw as they left (I mean, what better way to send off newlyweds from the ceremony when the MRS is a pastry artist, eh?)! The guests were then, escorted by the ushers through the subway to the reception at the Radegast in Brooklyn! It was filled with wooden picnic tables, amazing beer selections and a grilling station for custom brats/sausage orders through the night!

The decor was a touch of spring meets romance. Spring bloomed cherry blossoms complimented the ceremony alter while romantic candles were sprinkled at Casi and Ben’s feet as they exchanged vows! Glowing candles and succulents were perfect for the tables at the reception as they were displayed on purple table runners to soften up the wooden picnic-type-tables! Large bulb lights and greenery finished off the romance of the reception space while guests enjoyed their WI beer and sausage for the night!

It was a casual night that was filled with laughing, shared stories and new friendships…I don’t think Casi and Ben would have imagined anything better! The city lights escorted them to their car as they drove away into the city to adventure together as Mr and Mrs!
