I’m not quick to admit it, but I sort of love winter. Even the snowiest ones (actually the snowier the better in my book). And let me tell you, if this winter looks anything like this gorgeous shoot from Carrie Pellerin, Flour! and Daisies & Pearls – I would never want it to end. See why here.
The color palette of blush, champagne and soft green complements, while polished silver elements harmoniously contrast the primitive white washed exposed post interior of the barn. An invitation suite adds shimmer reminiscent of the blanket of glistening white just outside the sliding barn doors.
The bride in layers of blush tulle and her groom in grey wool say “I Do” at an altar lined with silver lanterns. She holds a bouquet of amaryllis, anemone, tulip, hydrangea, dusty miller and berries.
A beautiful farm table of shining merriment awaits the couple inside under the barn’s wrought iron and crystal chandelier. The table is decorated with a Chevron sequin table runner topped with a birch log trough filled with lovely blooms. Mercury glass votives create candlelight ambience. Silver dinnerware and flatware add even more sparkle. The table is flanked by crystal Chiavari chairs draped with garland of greens. A woodsy antler displays the table number. The stair leading to the barn’s loft is cascaded with mercury glass and candlelight.
A pink champagne tower of delight is enjoyed in the farmhouse’s conservatory before savoring a cake of silvery quilting and blushing ruffles. Afterwards the couple sneaks away for some fun in the winter wonderland with their pup.
