Modern Nautical Kiawah Island Resort Wedding

There’s something for everyone in this gem from Virgil Bunao. Greens for days for the golf-lovers, soft beaches and sweeping views of Kiawah Island, nautical touches atop the linens from BBJ, modern chevron detailing, a gatsby-esque cake, classic bits throughout and a rad dance party courtesy of East Coast Entertainment. All together, it works so beautifully and it comes as no surprise with Luke Wilson behind the planning. See the film from Life Stage Films and hit up the gallery for even more!

From Virgil Bunao Photography… Amy and Brian sought out South Carolina as their wedding destination and it was a no-brainer when they decided to select The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island as their backdrop. The views are amazing, the sea breeze is an added bonus, and feeling like you’re in total seclusion while you’re reciting your wedding vows in front of your loved ones is priceless. To pay homage to the beautiful surroundings, Amy and Brian chose to go with a fun, nautical theme of navy and fuchsia pink; with a soft white mix of hydrangea-and-rose centerpieces that balanced out the color choices. They carried this palette to their wedding party as the gentlemen looked dapper in blue and the ladies looked stunning in pink.
