From The Bride( a fabulous wedding photographer herself!)…We met in high school. We ran track and cross country together and would never get picked up on time. So we would find ourselves being the only ones left waiting after practice…. so naturally we would talk. After a while we liked each other and started requesting not being picked up on time.

Then so started the omaerin adventure. 10 years later…. we are getting married.

All of the florals on the reception tables, greenery around the wishing well, florals on our cake and the ceremony suspended arch were done by Little Branch. All the florals at the dessert table (excluding cake and small vases) were done by our planner, Enchanted Garden Events & Floral Design.

All of the lanterns were provided by Sweet Emilia Jane.

The yay flags were made by myself  and family from scratch. And the tambourines were made by mom and I from scratch.

Dress: And the BIG BIG one that I’m absolutely happy about in every way possible…Was my dress and veil. It was originally a sample bought from Claire Pettibone named “Misti”. To my knowledge the only one that was made. But my Seamstress made the tweaks and improvements I asked for. Included removing tule part just under the bust to reveal the delicate and simple beading. She totally worked magic to make it fit to my tiny build and body. She added a subtle train with beading so as not to take away from the back. And she added the beads to my sleeves A

The SWEETS sign and our O’n’E sign were completely made by Omar and I. We used free cardboard boxes and went to work with our knives and spray paint.

Pablo Neruda has always been my favorite poet and a special thing between me and Omar as well as the “Love is” newspaper clippings. So that’s why my vows were in the little pink booklet.
