French Brunch Inspired Bridal Shower

Having just planned my little sister’s bridal shower I can safely say that pulling off a gorgeous, love filled day is not a cake walk. But loads of inspiration and a solid game plan certainly help. So bridesmaids, get your pinning fingers ready. This French-inspired shoot crafted by Jacqueline Nicole WeddingsMaxit Flower Design and Kimberly Chau dabbles in coral peonies, the yummiest looking brunch fare and some requisite mimosas. Now that’s how you do a bridal shower.

From Nicole of Jacquelyn Nicole Weddings….I have always been drawn to the elegance of French culture ever since I started ballet training at age three. While enjoying breakfast and coffee one crisp spring morning at Sweet Paris Creperie, I realized that the cafe would be a lovely location for an intimate, French-inspired bridal shower. Kimberly Chau captured this bright and airy soiree perfectly with lots of laughter and smiles. I believe in utilizing pretty spaces with simplistic designs and hints of rustic charm, so the bar cart and farm table provided by Bourbon and Bloom proved to be a beautiful contrast to the polished tufted seating and classic Tolix chairs of Sweet Paris. As a fresh reflection of the spring and summer seasons, Maria Maxit created brightly colored floral pieces infused with greenery. The vintage eclecticism as seen in Parisian couture inspired the chic hair and makeup styles by the girls at Sunkissed and Made Up. Lindsay Ann Artistry designed a custom paper suite incorporating the cafe’s signature whisk and “no passport required” tagline. Inspired by a quiet breakfast at a cafe, I enjoyed taking a brief trip to Paris during this shoot, highlighting friendship and the delicate art of French cuisine.
