From White-Klump PhotographyWhat do you think of when you think Key West? Obviously the gorgeous crystal blue and teal waters of both the Atlantic and the Gulf, but it’s so much more than that! Not only did we want to showcase the beach and pristine waters, but obviously the rich history, adorned with local artists and whimsical charm. First of all, we chose the Fort Zachary Fort for the swoon worthy setting. Not only is it located right on the water, but it offers itself as a National Historic Landmark for the US Navy which Key West is greatly known for. Also, we wanted to incorporate vintage pieces such as flowered tea cups, lanterns, and mismatched chairs for the ceremony to bring in the eclectic vibe. Succulents, old driftwood, crates and branches from the fort served as a lovely centerpiece for the table scape and cake. We also used local artists, Jill Regalia and Invites by Danette to incorporate the local flair by using Key West post cards as the Save the Dates as well as delicate hand-made jewelry for the couple. Etsy designers, Bloom Bazaar and Jeannie Lee created completely original designs for the headpieces and dress to show a soft but fanciful feel to the shoot.
